The CCC Kei Chi Secondary School Library commissioned a set of pin badges for library promotion and school activities. Badges are a common keepsake and identification item for schools and organisations, and this batch was produced under the library's name so that wearers are immediately recognisable.
The requirement was a badge that could be worn over time with a secure fastening. A safety pin was chosen for the back, keeping the badge in place as students and library staff move around the campus.
The back was finished in gold plating, giving the metal a warm sheen that suits the library's restrained character. The front design followed artwork supplied by the library, with clean lines that keep even the smaller lettering legible.
Once delivered, the badges can be handed out or worn during borrowing promotions, reading activities and other school occasions. Their small size makes them easy to store and distribute, and they work well as a keepsake that lasts.
