KMB clap-light Bluetooth speaker gift set

KMB (Kowloon Motor Bus) commissioned Regent Gifts to produce a batch of clap-light Bluetooth speakers for a brand promotion occasion. The gift pairs a tap-activated light with Bluetooth audio playback, with KMB's brand elements carried through the design.

The client needed a gift that was both practical and entertaining, so that recipients would come into contact with the KMB brand in daily life. A clap-light Bluetooth speaker serves as lighting and as a music player at once, and sits naturally on a bedside table or desk.

On the build, the body uses LED lighting in multiple colours with tap sensing, so a light tap switches the light mode; once paired over Bluetooth, it plays music. KMB's logo and colours are printed on the exterior, making the gift instantly recognisable as KMB's.

The finished piece works as a small appliance people can keep using, and as a carrier of the brand message. Recipients see the KMB mark again each time they tap the light at night or play music during the day.
