Columbia combination lock luggage strap

Columbia commissioned a run of combination lock luggage straps for use around its travel goods. The strap is a travel accessory, closed with a combination lock so luggage is easier to identify when checked in and collected.

Columbia wanted its branding on the strap without losing the strap's function. The brand mark sits on a prominent part of the strap body, while the lock is handled separately so opening and adjusting are unaffected.

The strap body is made of webbing with a combination lock buckle; users set their own code. Printing is confined to the strap body, with colours and lettering following the brand material Columbia supplied.

The finished straps sit alongside Columbia's travel goods and work as a travel accessory or event giveaway.
