United Airlines Advertising Umbrellas for United Vacations

United Airlines commissioned Regent Gifts to produce a batch of advertising umbrellas for United Vacations. The umbrellas have a double-layer canopy, with the inner layer printed with a United Airlines aircraft flying through blue sky and white clouds.

The design centres on the inner layer. Folded, the umbrella stays understated; opened, the aircraft and sky artwork comes into view, which suits handing out or using during holiday trips.

The handle is made of high-density EVA foam for a comfortable grip, so the umbrella stays easy to hold over longer periods. Materials and printing follow the artwork supplied by the client, with the canopy and the image working together.

The finished umbrellas were used in United Vacations promotional settings, putting the brand into everyday moments alongside the umbrella.
