HKMU PU Leather Luggage Tags

Regent Gifts designed and produced several PU leather luggage tags for Hong Kong Metropolitan University (HKMU), for everyday campus use and distribution at university events. PU leather is the main material, placing the tags among the more texture-conscious items in a university's gift range.

The client needed a batch of luggage tags that would represent the university's image and hold up to use. Running several designs in parallel let the same order be split by occasion or recipient instead of issuing one uniform tag to everyone.

Regent Gifts handled the university logo by embossing, pressing the mark into the PU leather surface so it sits in relief. No additional colour is applied, yet the logo stays legible against the leather.

The finished tags were delivered to Hong Kong Metropolitan University. Seen together, the several PU leather designs share one clear trait: the embossed logo reads with a pronounced three-dimensional effect.
